Bette: An artistic shell washbasin
The new BetteCraft (image) is a circular, concave washbasin, in a beautiful shell-inspired shape. BetteCraft combines the best of two worlds – the sculptural aesthetics of the finest porcelain shells, and the perfect material for the bathroom: glazed titanium steel. The delicate design language and brilliant surface of the BetteCraft are so flawless and artistic that it instantly creates the impression of Chinese porcelain. No beginning and no end, no edges or corners: the circle is the most perfectly balanced figure in geometry. In the new bath BettePond Silhouette (image), Bette combines this perfect form with the perfect material in the bathroom: glazed titanium steel. Just immerse yourself for complete relaxation. DELABIE: Detection system and automatic flushing
With its hybrid rinsing system, the HYBRIMATIC FINO urinal is a serious, ecological alternative to water-free urinals. Its unique detection system and automatic flushing allow maximum water savings. It cleans the whole of the bowl and the membrane using only 7cl (1 second’s worth of water flow). During busy periods, the high-frequency mode is active. No manual contact prevents the spread of germs by hand. A hygienic duty flush takes place every 24 hours (can be set to 12 hours). Unlike “water-free” urinals, HYBRIMATIC FINO does not does not require the use of chemicals or costly products (liquids and cleaning products). Made from stainless steel, a material that is 100 percent recyclable, HYBRIMATIC FINO urinal contributes to sustainable development and protecting the environment.
FILIGRAN Trägersysteme: Higher loads also at very slim flat-slabs
The "FDB – Filigran-Durchstanzbewehrung" is a punching-shear-reinforcement, that has already been established in precast slab elements (lattice girder slabs). Currently the FDB is increasingly proving its brilliant properties in cast-in-situ concrete on construction-sites, too. By using the FDB, very slim flat-slabs can resist higher loads, where other punching-shear-reinforcement already fail due to their much lower, maximum permitted punching-shear-resistance. The FDB stands out not only for its easy use in planning and installation on the sites, but also for its maximum performance and economic advantages compared to the other punching-shear-reinforcement on the market. Thus the reinforcement quantity and / or the concrete quality can possibly be optimized in addition to the flat-slab thickness, to increase the economic efficiency, too. Naturally this special reinforcement can be verified easily by a software solution. It is available, free of charge, at “www.filigran.de”.
Georg Fischer: Particularly easy and quick to install
GF Piping Systems offers future-proof system solutions for the energy-efficient and sustainable management of buildings with a focus on drinking water hygiene and efficiency – whether new or existing, residential, hospital or hotel. The Hycleen Automation System (image) from GF Haustechnik is a modern circulation control system that is particularly easy and quick to install and commission. It was recently awarded with the Red Dot Award: The innovative control system for automatic control, monitoring and logging of drinking water installation processes. The master permanently monitors the sensors, reports deviations and can be controlled from any location. The automated control system can also be connected to existing building management systems (reading of data for real-time monitoring, logging and alarm management).
Honeywell Home – Resideo: Simplified hydraulic balancing and compact domestic water supply solutions
Resideo Technologies was founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the Honeywell Group. This new company will be presenting Honeywell Home’s well-known and proven products at bautec: The focus at the stand will be energy efficiency and drinking water quality. The latest addition to the Honeywell Home heating portfolio facilitates hydraulic balancing, especially in existing buildings: The pressure-independent thermostatic valve Kombi-TRV regulates the flow rate with varying inlet pressure directly in the consumer unit. Balancing the heating system no longer requires exact knowledge of the pipe system installed in the building. Resideo offers solutions for safeguarding, filtering and regulating potable water installations. Honeywell Home fittings from backflow preventers and filters to pressure reducers: With PrimusCenter, the entire range of domestic water supply technology is available as a complete solution in a compact housing.
HOSCH Gebäudeautomation: Real time data at the automatic, service, and configuration mode
A new and especially secured Bluetooth interface now allows customers to directly activate and monitor the proved smoke extraction system rigentoS3 by Hosch Gebäudeautomation. The Bluetooth application rigentoAPP (image) for Android and iOS smartphones fulfils highest security-standards and provides real time data at the automatic, service, and configuration mode. Within the automatic mode the Bluetooth interface works unidirectional (send) only. In contrast to conventional Bluetooth applications, the transmission module rigentoBT does not need pairing for connection establishment. This new interface allows to switch relay outputs and voltage bridges, test LEDs, set clocks, and retrieve various operating states. rigentoAPP can also show valid and triggered scenarios or identify disturbed modules.
Kaldewei: 4-in-1 system solution for easy, safe installation
Kaldewei NexSys is according to exhibitor a real shower surface revolution. The innovative 4-in-1 system which is already pre-assembled at the factory consists of a waste channel, sloping support, sealing and an enamelled shower surface enabling ultra simple and fast installation by professionals. NexSys takes a completely new approach to floor-level showers, perfectly combining two worlds: with one of the main advantage being it’s a seamless shower surface made of steel enamel with the design of a tiled shower area with a shower channel. The Kaldewei NexSys opens up a new market segment and rings in the change from shower channel to channel shower. This innovative product will be available in eight sizes on launch.
Meltem Wärmerückgewinnung: Comfort ventilation with heat recovery
Meltem complements the existing M-WRG series with a new ventilation series. The new M-WRG-II series is specially designed for the structural conditions of modern buildings and is certified by the Passive House Institute (PHI). Also new are the model variants M-WRG-II E with enthalpy cross-counterflow heat exchanger (maximum 91 percent heat recovery efficiency), with which a part of the humidity can be recovered from the exhaust air. This has a positive effect on the room climate, especially in the heating season. In addition, no condensation occurs under normal conditions of use and without extraordinary moisture loads. The heat recovery efficiency is up to 94 percent. Pollutants in the outside air can be detected with the optional VOC sensor. The new devices can be used, for example, in apartment buildings and single-family houses, in student and retirement homes, in kindergartens and schools, as well as in hotels and offices.
PREFA: Harmony between roof, facade and roof drainage elements
Like PREFA Siding, PREFA Siding.X is also a façade element used in the construction of ventilated façades. Siding.X combines the constructive and functional advantages of PREFA Sidings. The new PREFA Siding.X façade product gives the building a distinctive look and distinguishes itself with its outstanding characteristics. Like PREFA Sidings, the new Siding.X can be fixed easily on aluminium or wooden facade constructions. With its „wrinkly surface“ it supports an object’s individual glance. Siding.X can be layed horizontal as well as vertical, with or without shadow gap, in different widths and lengths. So every facade with Siding.X is going to be one of a kind. The PREFA roof drainage system is now available in anthracite, light grey and brown in P.10 quality (image). This enables a harmony between roof, facade and roof drainage elements. P.10 is the first matte varnishing which is UV-, colour and weather resistant. Now you get 40 years colour warranty for your roof as well as facade and gutter system.
purelivin: Short construction times, less concrete and almost 100 percent recyclable
purelivin is committed to shaping the future of multi-storey, wood housing and has developed a revolutionary concept: purelivin. Using innovative, modular, solid wood construction, purelivin reduces construction time and creates high-quality, affordable living space and conserves resources. Taking advantage of serial production techniques and solid wood construction, complete room modules are combined according to the plug & play principle to form multifunctional, flexible residential units. The resulting buildings are 95 percent natural, on-site construction is three-times as fast as conventional methods, the concrete content has been reduced to 10 percent and the entire building can be 100 percent dismantled and recycled. The future of construction is serial, modular and in wood.
Remeha: A fuel cell system for the home
In addition to the fuel cell module itself, the eLecta 300 fuel cell system (ill.) from Remeha consist of a 300 l buffer tank, a hydraulic unit (built into the front part of the buffer) and a gas condensing boiler serving as a peak load boiler. This has an adjustable output of 5.2 to 21.8 kW and is also installed in the front part of the buffer. Water is heated by means of a fresh water module directly from the buffer tank. With this arrangement the eLecta 300 is ideal for one- and two-family homes. The fuel cell module itself is made from a polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM), enabling it to achieve an output of 750 W electrically and 1,100 W thermally, and with an electrical efficiency of 38 per cent. In addition to its innovative hardware another outstanding feature of the eLecta 300 is its new touchscreen control unit with its own energy calculator.
SOLARFOCUS: Higher supply temperature and improved heating performance
The new heat pump from SOLARFOCUS is notable for its remarkably quiet operation and outstanding test results. It uses inverter technology to adjust the output of the heat pump to meet the heating requirements of the house, and water is heated in accordance with demand. The injection of reheated steam boosts efficiency while at the same time reducing the demand for power. This allows higher supply temperatures and an improved heating performance, especially when outside temperatures are lower. Among the characteristics of efficient heat pumps is their improved efficiency even at lower outside temperatures. The vampair (ill.) from SOLARFOCUS achieves a coefficient of performance of 4.97 at A7/W35 (external air temperature of 7 degrees Celsius and a heating water supply temperature of 35 degrees Celsius). A standard feature of the new air heat pump is its smart grid interface, enabling the grid of the future to be supplied with low cost power when there is an energy surplus.
Triflex: A long-lasting protection of the building in one working step
With Triflex SmartTec, the liquid plastics specialist presents a universally applicable, 1-component sealing solution. It can be applied without primer - even on damp, mineral substrates. The system is permeable to diffusion so that the building fabric can dry out afterwards. With only one material, trained specialist companies produce a long-lasting protection of the building in one working step. This saves time and money. Due to the extension of the maintenance intervals, building owners benefit from a high level of economic efficiency. As it is solvent- and isocyanate-free, no unpleasant odours are produced during processing. This means that it can also be used in kindergartens, hospitals and internal technical rooms without any problems. Unpermanent weather conditions do not influence the processing of Triflex SmartTec - this is possible from an ambient temperature of 5 degrees Celsius. The material does not foam up in the rain.
Weishaupt: Extremely quiet and efficient operation
The Weishaupt Group employs more than 3500 people and is a leading provider of burners, condensing boilers, heat pumps, solar equipment and building management systems. At bautec 2020 the organisation is presenting, among other things, its new, modulating “BiBloc WWP LB 12 air-to-water heat pump”. Particularly notable for its extremely quiet and efficient operation, it is the ideal solution for both for new builds and, in particular, for renovations. The new outdoor unit design has a very large evaporator for the utilisation of air as an energy source. Its aluminium slats and innovative ‘owl wing’ fan help to further reduce noise levels, which at a distance of just 1.5 m are only 35 dB(A) and thus meet the most stringent requirements of TA Lärm – Germany’s noise control guidelines – for night-time use in purely residential areas. This makes the Weishaupt BiBloc heat pump one of the quietest air-to-water heat pumps on the market and allows it to be installed close to buildings without any problems.
Werner Alarmanlagen: Intelligent video analysis for monitoring open spaces
The XtralisIntrusionTrace application uses intelligent video analysis for high performance intrusion detection, and this system has been designed specifically for 24/365 outdoor monitoring. Thousands of hours of video material were used in creating the best possible system, thereby ensuring a minimal false alarm rate and improved detection probability. Whether the intention is to monitor a plot of land, a car dealership, builders’ merchants, garden centre or other outdoor areas, the images obtained by the alarm system are relayed to an emergency call centre, where initial verification is carried out by trained staff. This leads to a sharp reduction in the number of false alarms received by the user and results in much more efficient video monitoring. In this way intelligent technology and experienced security personnel can ensure the best possible protection for outdoor sites.
Werner Alarmanlagen: Intelligent video analysis for monitoring open spaces
A new DIN standard has now come into effect to ensure legal compliance in the areas of fire detection and fire warnings for children’s daycare centres, homes and accommodation with up to 60 beds, and for special forms of living accommodation for the elderly and the disabled. In order to satisfy the objective of “protection of persons through evacuation” along with long term operating safety for residents, owners, operators, planners and constructors of so-called “small special structures“, in future the DIN VDE 0826-2 will apply, in conjunction with the DIN EN 54 range of standards. The BEKA radio fire alarm systemfrom Daitem effectively meets all these requirements. It complies in every respect with the new standard for fire alarms and is the ideal solution for the owners and operators of buildings. With a secure transmission path in accordance with EN 54-25 this is the first system on the German market to comply with the new standard, thereby providing the best possible fire protection solution for smaller special structures.
WOLFF & MÜLLER Holding: Digital planning and building with BIM
Besides all being in Germany, what do the town hall in Leonberg, the Porsche company canteen in Weissach and the new offices of SOFiSTiK in Nuremberg have in common? They have all been digitally planned and built using BIM (Building Information Modeling) methods – and all by Stuttgart-based construction company WOLFF & MÜLLER. The family-run business is at bautec to tell visitors all about BIM and the many other aspects of digitalization in the construction sector – from process management to supporting technologies such as drones, virtual reality (image) and networked construction sites and machinery. The WOLFF & MÜLLER Group is active across the construction sector, working on high-rise and industrial buildings, constructing roads and highways, undertaking civil engineering projects and carrying out specialist subterranean works. In addition to construction services, it also supplies building and raw materials and provides the related ancillary services.
Zremb Poland: Floating platforms along with supplementary elements
The Company specializes especially in manufacturing of all types of steel structures, machinery, parts and equipment for the construction industry. Within the scope of own production the exhibitor offers full scope of construction formwork, excavation protection and floating platforms. He has sufficient production space and necessary machines for steel processing: mechanical, plastic forming, welding (MIG, MAG, TIG, MMA), surface preparation and painting and logistics. As for floating platforms, Zremb Poland offers manufacturing and assembly of floating platforms along with supplementary elements such us Y-derrick, gangways, energy distribution points. Of these new models will be presented at the bautec. The Company manufactures floating platforms on wire fabric reinforced floaters of a light and heavy type, as well as platforms and floating platforms made in foamed polystyrene filled steel floaters technology.
